4 Night Shark Alley Express

This is a well balanced package for the avid shark diver that wants to do 2 Shark Cage Dives. The package is spaced out over 5 days to allow for time to reschedule in the event of bad weather. This is a very popular package during our Winter season when there is a real chance of poor weather preventing the boat from going out. 

Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Collect your rental car and drive through to Gansbaai or take the shark diving shuttle (Optional extra R300 per person for return to Cape Town). 

Relax for the afternoon and take in some Whale watching (July - December) 

Day 2

Drive through to the Shark Diving crew house or if you do not have a car the shark diving bus will pick you up on the way through. Breakfast will be enjoyed at the crew house before the briefing for the trip. Launch from Kleinbaai harbour and 20 minutes later you will be floating in the most densly populated area for Great White Sharks in the world! The trip lasts approximately 3-4 hours depending on sea conditions and shark activity.

Following the trip you will watch the DVD of the day. The rest of the day is then yours to enjoy this stunning area and in season the best land based Whale watching in the world! The area is safe to walk around and is true paradise. Collection can be arranged for a local restaurant for the evening and that is after your dip in ther Jacuzzi watching the sun set over the bay. 

Day 3 

This is your second day diving! Drive through to the Shark Diving crew house or if you do not have a car the shark diving bus will pick you up on the way through. Breakfast will be enjoyed at the crew house before the briefing for the trip. As this is your second day you will be much more relaxed and prepared for the experience. If you are here to take photos of the sharks then you will find it much easier on your second time out. The adrenaline rush will still be there but you will have more control of your senses and will be much more prepared to face the sharks. 

Following the trip you will watch the DVD of the day. The rest of the day is then yours to enjoy this stunning area and in season the best land based Whale watching in the world! If not in season there are stunning beaches, caves and walking trails to fill your afternoon. The area is safe to walk around and is true paradise. Collection can be arranged for a local restaurant for the evening and that is after your dip in ther Jacuzzi watching the sun set over the bay. 

Day 4

This is kept spare for a spare day in the even of bad weather. You can chose to go on this day if other days are not nice at sea and you can even go out for a 3rd time to finish off your experience! (Optional Extra). If you have a hire car we can direct you to a few excellent places to visit in the area such as Bettys Bay penguin colony and Cape Agulhas (The Most Southern Tip of Africa). If you do not have a car then there is a local guide that can take you. There is also a local brewery and many wine farms in the area so there is alot to keep yourself busy with. 

If you are not shark diving then breakfast will be enjoyed at the Roundhouse .

Day 5

This is your last morning in Gansbaai before returning to Cape Town or the airport. You will have time to do an early shark dive if you have missed any of the trips due to bad weather. Breakfast will be enjoyed at the Roundhouse of you are not shark diving and then check-out is at approximately 10am. If you are doing a shark dive then you can come back to your room after your dive and shower before leaving. If you are on the shark diving shuttle then you will return on the bus to Cape Town or the airport with the shark divers after the morning trip.
