Dyer Island is famous for its Great White Sharks and as most know the reason there is so much Great White Shark activity in the area is mainly because of Dyer Islands Penguins and Geyser Islands massive population of Cape Fur Seals. The Great White Sharks patrol the perimeters of the vast kelp fields of the area and through 'Shark Alley'. Cape Fur Seals are however completely safe from Great White Sharks when swimming inside the kelp fields as the Great White Sharks are not comfortable in this environment. Therefore the many kelp fields around Dyer and Geyser Islands offer an excellent playground for the Cape Fur Seals and Penguins.

Global Ocean Services offers you an experience of a lifetime Diving with the seals amongst the kelp fields around Dyer Island and the coastlines kelp fields. Dive with hundreds of Cape Fur Seals around you trying to communicate and play. The experience of playing a hide and seek game with a baby cape fur seal amongst the kelp fields does not fade in the memory well as the many who have done this will confirm. This is most definitely an experience not to be missed!
