We had had a fantastic summer-like start to the week with flat seas and only a breath of wind! The sharks have been excellent this week with an average of 13 Great White sharks per trip! From Thursday the cold fronts rolled in again and put the boats back on land for the end of the week. The sharks have still been at the beach but a couple of boats are giving it a go at the Island but no can guarantee anything as the sharks are moving between the two locations still. The boats have all set up in Port St Johns for the Sardine Run and currently no bait-ball action has been seen but the is plenty of opportunities to slip in the water with the sharks, dolphins and Hump Back Whales that are along the coastline. Probably the last blue & Mako shark dive took place last week with another successful trip out into the deep. This trip is amazing and truly world class and over the last 2 years the guys have seen Mola Mola, Killer whales, Pilot whales, Sperm whales, Black Marlin, Stripped Marlin, Dorado, Mako’s, Blues and all kinds of tuna! Keep this in mind when visiting from November onwards this summer!!
